Tradición Dance Company

Since it’s inception in the year 2010, Tradición Dance Company has grown it’s repertoire. Tradición prides itself in being part of the Pomona, CA community and is formed by children, youth, and adults who share the same interest in Mexican culture. The dancers not only learn about the art form of Mexico, but also keep themselves occupied by gaining knowledge of dance skills and techniques. Tradición Dance Company has impressed many audiences through the years, and will continue to do so by sharing the beautiful dances of Mexico.

Inspiraciones de Danza Mexicana

A group of performers committed to inspiring youth and the community by celebrating Mexican culture through folkloric dance. As individual artists and a cohesive group, Inspiraciones promotes Mexican performing arts with dance instruction, specialized workshops and public performances.

Paso De Oro

Steps of Gold Dance Studio/ Paso de Oro Dance Company is under the direction of Alicia Mendibles, Founder/ Owner, Artistic Director and Choreographer and co-director/owner Alejandro Rey. This family studio has been the training ground for nearly 2,000 dancers and produced numerous award winning performance pieces.

Based in Whittier California, Paso de Oro provides dance training in a nurturing, family environment offering dance instruction for both competitive and recreational dancers for Beginners through Adult. Our mission is to share our Mexican culture and traditions through dance with audiences in Southern California and beyond. Past performances to name only a few (alphabetically): Bowers Museum, Disneyland, Disney California Adventure, Downey Theater DDLM, Los Angeles Dodgers, Los Angeles Lakers, Los Angeles Sparks, PBS Holiday Celebrations (televised), Telemundo’ s morning show, Uptown Whittier Dia de Los Muertos. Latinas Art Foundation

The Latinas Art Foundation is a 501(c)(3)non-profit organization that was created to support arts education. It encourages the study, appreciation and recognition of excellence in Latino Arts. The foundation supports programs of scholarship, research, conservation and exhibitions with institutions and other non-profit organizations that are consistent with this mission. The Latinas Art Foundation is dedicated to the appreciation of the Latino Fine Arts and Culture. Our goals are to Empower women and young girls, as well as to provide the community with Education and Exposure to the Latino Arts and Culture. Our vision is to recognize parts of the Latino Culture that has shaped our past and parts that we take into our future.

Art Dance Academy

School of Ballet and Dance “Art Dance Academy” has a profile dedicated to vocational training of students from an early age, meets comprehensive educational program that brings together several disciplines, including Ballet, Repertoire, Contemporary Dance, Jazz, Lyrical, Caribbean rhythms and Hip-Hop among others. we also provide physical training for dancers, Gymnastics, Acrobatics and elasticity and Turn and Jump.
